Foster SC Mod
https://www.fosterscmods.com/collect...ts/new-sku-332
Anyone have any experience with this sound tube mod? I read a thread from about a year ago, but it seems like there aren't many people running this setup. Surprising given its popularity with the mustang crowd. |

I have one on my Z now.
Huge amount of intake WHOOSH with the tube capped as it is supplied by Foster. Its' deafening in the cabin at anything above half throttle. Foster says to do this and I did have to add some layers of latex glove 2 or 3 times to dampen that sound and yet preserve some of the whine. It's def doable but trial and error. I have a standard RotOFab but that isn't affected by the sound tube. When youre WOT the in cabin whine is glorious. Ive done the rest of it to include removing the sound plate from the SC lid. Thanks for sharing. I found this youtube video of a Z with this mod.
The whooshing noise you described is very audible, how bad is it with the 2 or 3 layers of latex? |
