AWE Catback + PLP vs NPP on SS 1LE
I recently installed the AWE Touring Catback Non-Resonated and the Performance Link Pipes on my 18 SS 1LE. Wow, what a great system. The look, the weight, the sound and the tips are all worth the money! The packaging was great and the customer service even better.
I did have an issue with a CEL coming on. I apparently had the old instructions that did not tell me to use the muffler paste on the slip joint of the PLPs. I am going to pull them off and apply the paste and delete the code. That should fix the issue. Here are a few comparison vids to check out! Highly recommend going this route and I hope these comparisons help. |

IM probably going to do the 2d Cat delete but this PLP seems on the pricey side as they are. I have the AWE touring axle back.

That is a sweeet system, I can't believe the pinched pipes, why did GM do that? seems it's just a power robbing way to make something.
