To anyone who has tracked with 345s/30-19 R7s on the rear, have you ever had a problem with the tire rubbing the quarter panel?
I test fitted the new wheels and tires today. The rear tires extend beyond the panel by about an inch. I don't know if there is enough suspension travel to create a problem, but I thought I'd reach out to anyone with experience.

Did you measure ride height delta between your stock FE4 set up and your FEA set up now? I think a lot of ZL1 1LE guys have ran 345's on stock 12" rears or aftermarket with +41 offset. |

I think you're right about others running the same 345 rear setup with the FEA. The tires just look awfully close to the quarter panel. I keep picturing a hard turn or bump on the track resulting in the need for a new panel, but in reality, it's probably fine.

If you are motivated, what I've done on my track/autox cars where there wasn't much data was to remove the spring and articulate the wheel tire package thru its travel. Between variables like offset, tire selection, camber, etc its the only way to be sure. At least on the rear its rather easy to remove/reinstall the spring.

Good to know. I was considering their wheels, but they were not available yet in the ZL1 1LE sizes (not sure if they are available now or not).

I just bought a set of 19x11 (11mm front, 43 mm rear offset) from Apex for a square 305 setup on a normal ZL1. I'll report back.

There was a group buy here a few months ago. Apex offered 19x11 and 12s. I signed up and paid the deposit. I'm not worried about the strength of their wheels. It's the delivery dates being dragged out again and again that concerns me. I'm sure once I get my set of wheels I'll be happy.

I ran the new tire and wheel setup on Friday at PittRace. Overall impressions were good. I could hear some rubbing noise in one of the hard right-hand turns, but I could not find where it was rubbing. I used masking tape around the fenders, etc. with no luck. I'm sure once I take the wheels off for inspection, I'll find it.

315 / 345 or 315 square? I can read the sidewall on the front pic. Thanks.

You're close. It's an AT4. I hated to trade the '18 Raptor, but I needed a '19 GM 1500 test vehicle for my Autostop Eliminator business.
