The Huracan Performante or McLaren 720s for street car that you can put some miles on and sit in for hours comfortably. The Porsche GT3RS for track and if you really wanna kick out 400K for a sick track car, GT2RS! |

That’s cool! I envy him The GT cars are amazing machines. I can’t fit in the seats though.
I wanted to get into the whole buy a super car, never drive it and see what it’s worth down the road. In the end I had to look in the mirror and realize I’m not that guy LOL. |

Yeah I am lucky..love my job. Day I stop I'll be lost. Yeah sold my RS yesterday. Performante from what I hear is more fun then 720. Drove GT2RS and was fun but we all know that street driving will never approach G forces that on track will. |

Congrats on selling the car. I also heard the Performante is more reliable. The only reason to drive a GT2RS on the street is to watch people drool. |

Nicky Bobby why not save a bunch of $ and get a C7 ZR1? Ultimate track weapon only next to GT2 RS W edition...Then buy a nice and comfy but stylish dd for the remaining price difference

I spent a good part of the day yesterday removing track rubber from Palmer Motorsports Park. First step was to clean the wheels. Collected a small baggie worth of rubber chunks from inside the rims (used nitrile gloves and just peeled them off by hand). Next was to use wheel cleaner and microfiber brush for the rims, followed by an ordinary two-bucket wash to get an idea of the extent of the rubber on the car.
Had rubber marks on the nose, front fenders, doors, rocker panels, and rear quarters. As expected, the area with the most marks was in front of the rear wheels. The only prep prior to the track day was to wax the entire car with Meguiar's Ultimate synthetic wax. To remove the marks, I started with some BMW tar remover left over from my previous car. It worked okay, but it took a fair amount of rubbing effort, and would smear if I wasn't constantly using clean sections of the microfiber towel. Instructions said not to let it dry and also to rinse the area afterwards, so I wiped it with a dry cloth, and followed that with going over the area with a clay bar and Detail Spray lubricant. Since the tar remover and clay bar both remove the wax anyway, I decided to try Meguiar's Scratch-X 2.0 to remove the rubber instead of the tar remover. This was MUCH less effort! Hardly had to rub at all, even on the extended XPEL PPF pieces I have in front of the rear wheels. Followed again by clay bar and then a re-wax at the end of the process. Next time I'll just go with the Scratch-X rather than the tar remover. Less toxic and much easier.

Nah...C7 ZR1 will be a dinosaur once C8 Zora comes out...albeit some time from now. Tomorrow I will test drive LP610, Performante and Mac 675LT.
