HAHA. Destroy. Everything. In. Its. Path. Except the ZR1, which will eat Ferraris for lunch at half the price.

I'd never own a Corvette (Maybe when I am a old man) but this is a huge improvement visually over the present model. Good job.

If you stick to the used market you might be able to get into one sooner.

I have seen more than a handful of Mustang guys on other sites I visit say they would rather spend 60K on the C8 than a Mustang. Bravo GM

But, if I were in the market for a GT500, I might just wait one more year for a C8 with the next engine. We all have heard the rumors, and I don't think it matters whether it will be super or turbo charged, or CPC vs. FPC, all I know is it will make significantly more power, and will probably have more suspension and supporting upgrades. The 2020 is just the BASE C8. Wow... Don't get me wrong, 495 in that architecture will be plenty for me (as I drive an SS Camaro), but for guys who want big power, that's only another year or so away (unless there are some development delays). You can kind of have your cake AND eat it too. C8 architecture AND more power. |

My wife saw a picture of a c8 this morning, and now we're getting one. I wanted one anyways, but it took me by surprise that a woman that's never once looked at any car ever, or cared about what she drives, made it a point to tell me she wants one. She didn't care for the GT500, and at $74,000, neither do I. I'll keep my 18GT and add the c8 next to it.

As for the C8, I understand there will be more fancy gadgets in the foreign cars, but this car is a steal. And it has a number of fancy USEFUL gadgets that people will love as well. Useful like the 1000 point - memory front spoiler lift for curbs. Stuff you see in the Audui A8 and other $150k luxury vehicles that help protect the front end.
