I have yet to buy new rims for my LT1 but I did replace my stock Goodyear tires with a set of new Kumho Ecsta PA51 tires. At 31,808 miles, the Goodyear tires already had two plugs and were practically worn bald. I wanted the Michelins but they were not in stock for a same day solution on a Saturday afternoon at my local Pep boys. I couldn't miss anymore shifts of my work and needed new tires as my commute is 230 miles roundtrip, sometimes in heavy rain, and my last hydro-plane experience was scary. As a conventional all-season tire, they ride smoothly and handle well, still a 245 so not nearly wide enough for this v8, at least in the rear. 1k out the door…Now rims…I find SS OEM is easy to find, where as anything 1LE on eBay seems to be mislabeled. Can anyone provide links or part numbers?

Most of us go the 1LE route. 285-30-20's and 305-30-20. Much more grip. The 245 A/S's are hard and tiny for 460 ft/lbs.

Sure - just saved it, rotated it in "edit image", saved to new filename, uploaded it, and "preview post" to confirm it looks right, then post...

285-30-20's and 305-30-20 sound and look amazing. Could you link me to the OEM wheels? I agree 245 is too skinny, I am spinning from a start with traction control off.

Honestly, I found mine on FB. I bought the MRR reps, though was stalking some OEM 1LE's as well. If you buy the OEM's new, with rubber you are looking at $5k +. Take-offs are out there, or shop around for reps.

I was never comfortable driving with TC off with the 245's, and I haven't even tried with the 1LE sizes, but I'm sure it is a big diff.

Another option I found and got my SS OEM rear 9.5" wheels from is https://midwestwheelandtire.com/
which had good selection and more reasonable than dealer prices (although wider ones do get into large $$$ quickly).
If you search Camaro 2021 year a bunch of SS, SS 1LE, ... choices come up either new or reconditioned I think.
