TSB for front brakes, transmission

SOB, got to bring the Camaro in thanks to sliding piece that once again, within 13 months, needs to be replaced.

Anyway, been dealing with squeaky front brakes and the tranny jolting, etc.

Anyone know if there is a TSB so I can streamline this with the service dept.

Tbh, I didn’t know there was a TSB for the squeaky brakes. But if your talking about the A8 shudder it’s 18-NA-355

There is a TSB for low pitch “fog horn” vibration, not squeak.

I don't have any squeaking with the PowerStop pads. And less dust than the OEM.

Solved that problem by being hard on the brakes 16K miles, all 4 corners nearly due for replacement. That's personal record.

TSB 18-na-372 addresses brake squeak/squeal on SS with 4 piston Brembos with light brake application. There's a new rotor with different composition that is supposed to reduce or eliminate the noise. Done under warranty.

Ok, so picked up my Camaro from service today.

1- They replaced the front rotors via warranty due to the squealing.
2- They did the trans fluid exchange.

3- The reason I brought it in was because the panel popped due to the slider or so I thought. Turns out the issue is something different altogether. Apparently, the arms are so badly bent that it does not properly go forward AND they are broken away from mount.

I purchased the vehicle new at the end of May 2018. Top was replaced in August (ordered in July). The current service place is different and believe that when the top was replaced quite a bit of damage was done.

I have no idea what was replaced when the top was replaced, would think the arms would have been replaced, so either it came from the factory this way or it was busted when the new top was put on.

Vehicle has to be seen by another tech and this should be fun as I am certain these parts will have to be ordered, which means I can't use the top for some time to come.

I've had the front brakes squeak but I've only noticed it when I'm pulling into the garage.

TSB 18-NA-372 covers the replacement.

States that it is due to performance brakes being used in everyday traffic.

Replaced with new improved part listed on bulletin.

I have a 19 SS and mine started making noise, hard on the brakes a few times and it seems to have went away, if it comes back, I take the pads off and put some anti seize on the back of the backing plate , I think that's what the dealer is doing.

They replaced the rotors.

That is what the TSB states to do.
