2023 to be last year for Camaro
Read an article saying a good source from GM saying 7th gen to be cancelled and nameplate to be killed. Last Year of production for 6th gen is 2023. Anyone else hear this or is this just a rumor?

Just wait for GM, anything less than an official announcement is all speculation and opinions, which have already been exploited in multiple other threads.

Watch the 2021 redesign of NASCAR Cup cars. If the Chevy is still a Camaro the street car isn't going anywhere.

If I had to guess, the Camaro is going to go the way of the Challenger and will be offered for some time with only a minor refresh here and there. Wouldn’t be surprised if essentially the same Camaro offered today is still being offered past 2025.

Camaro would crush everything if it wasn’t for the visibility issue
Go to any enthusiast forum and they all say the same exact thing, they aren’t interested because of the visibility. The car is ****ing perfect besides that. Lower the belt line and raise the roof, it’s so simple. |

Mary B. and the top brass at GM will make the decision about the future of the Camaro and my suggestion is to buy one before they are axed!!

Please end the Camaro line. They got it right for like 3 years and then tried to fix something that wasn’t broken. Die with dignity, at least some of it.

Oh, and price and marketing/advertising, but let's not rehash everything for the umpteenth time---GM knows these full well, but their general direction seems to be away from the cars we love, the C8 being the rare exception. I bought my Camaro 2SS in 2018 (and will keep cherishing it) for this very reason, even though common sense would have dictated to wait. This car is pure awesomeness, especially for the kind of money GM wanted for it.

I guess I am weird then. I like the belt line. I like everything about this car with the exception that I think GM left power on the table and should offer some upgrades to the ZL1, like they did for the lower tier cars. A bolt on boost kit with an approved tune from GM with an OEM warranty would sell like mad. For the next generation they will need to make the halo model put out some much higher numbers if they want to touch the Mopar numbers. An bone stock 850HP ZL1 camaro would be amazing. If they can get that out of a Demon and offer a warrenty... they need to do it to the Camaro.
