Fender Liner

I purchased Diode Dynamics smoked side markers and of course went to YouTube to learn how to do the install. In all the videos I've seen, the front fender liner has an opening near the location of the side marker.

On my car, 2LT/RS 2.0T, that opening is covered. Wondering if there is a reason (ZL1, SS only, heavy duty brakes, etc) that mine is closed off.

Looking for any input on this.

Thanks in advance...

Open the portion of the fender liner up (by removing screws, etc.)? It should be fairly straightforward once you start tinkering.

Thanks guys! I'm less concerned with the install (definitely look straightforward), more concerned if I need to remove or cut-out that cover.

Na, you can pull back the liner enough to reach behind and pop those little clips no problem.
