My new OBX headers :-)

I got my OBX headers and high flow cats yesterday from Erik at Lashway Motorsports, a forum sponsor. He also sent me o2 extensions from race tronics. These things are gorgeous. I thoroughly looked them over and could NOT find anything to complain about, no dents or dings, perfect welds and all the ports were very smooth right into the tubes. The build quality is top notch, anyone who says otherwise is simply lying or has never seen OBX's in person.

The install was a piece of cake! I had a harder time installing Doug Thorley shorties. I did it alone, on my back in the garage in about 2 hours, and that was in between grilling steaks and cooking dinner. Seriously this was an easy job.

To sum up, fit and finish was perfect, they sound great and I spent half of what others are spending for the same thing. I am a very happy camper. Thanks to Erik who answered all my questions and assured me I would be very happy with my purchase. Here are some pictures.

Glad you're happy. Erik and his team are great to work with. He and his crew did my cam swap and dyno tune. I just bought some suspension parts through him that he'll be installing for me pretty soon as well.

No not yet, but I saw on another thread where someone did back to back dyno runs with OBX and very expensive brand name and they made the same power. If I do a dyno tune Ill post up my numbers.

On the 1/4 mile dyno (CA Speedway) mine went from 13.3 - 13.5 @ 108-109 (CAI, Borla ATAK, JBA HF cats) to 12.7-12.9 @ 111-112 (added OBX headers and JRE tune).

Not too shabby......no arguing......they perform!

Nice! Sounds like your happy with the JRE tune. I was considering having Ted send me a tune for my diablo. Do you have to do any data logging?

I honestly don't know. I could see paying top dollar for a complicated part, but these are built with a simple jig a good tig welder. Some will say the stainless is better, but cheap stainless or pricey stainless, either will out last the car which is built with regular steel. lol.

Bottom line, Im really happy with my purchase, if it makes someone feel better by spending 3 times as much then more power to 'em :-)
