Rim size?

I have basically the whole BMR suspension kit (lowered 1 1/4") as well as koni sports (yellow). I am looking to go down to a smaller weld rim.

Thinking 18 or even 17. What width would work in my application? 18x10.5? 18x11? 17x? I'd like to try and fit a 315 tire in the rears and something like a 275 in the fronts.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Depends on your goals for the car. You can fit 17’s and 18 on the rear. Depends on the wheel tho, the angle of the spokes will hit the Brembos on a few 17” set ups. If you care about fitment at all welds are not the way to go and either is a 17”. Again depends on the goal of the car. I’d figure out the end HP goal, and buy a wheel and tire package based on that. So you don’t end up buying them again down the road.

I wouldn't go smaller than 18" unless you're racing at the track. Once you go less than 18", the rims and tires start to look funky on a thick bodied car like the 5th gen. Just my opinion, of course.

Basically looking to go with 18” welds all the way around I was just looking for some clarification on the width. 9? 9.5? wanting to put 315’s in the rear and something like 275’s in the front

I am running 315’s in the rear with 11” wide wheels. They are 20’s but that shouldnt make a difference.
