NPP exhaust SPORT vs. TRACK mode

Am I wrong about this, but just from the exhaust standpoint isn't it exactly the same in SPORT and TRACK modes?

I've noticed that in sport mode, the npp valves close more often while getting up to speed slowly, whereas in track mode, they seem to stay open until cruising.

No, Track is a little louder, also appears the tq. level is lower in the rpm range in Sport Mode than track mode. T' mode seems sluggish at lower rpm. I suspect tq was moved up in the RPM for closed track driving.

The throttle is remapped in track mode, which may be what you're noticing. The setting is the same in touring and sport.

Sport mode the valves close more often under very light throttle and cruising speeds. In track mode the valves only close a bit when cruising at low rpms, constant throttle.

I have been thinking about switching my setting to the Track Exhaust setting for both Sport and Track...my Procharger setup seems to make the Borla NPP Valves flutter ever so little at light throttle cruising. I still need the valves to close when I am parked or on the phone so that is what I will use Tour for.

So track mode = roll race and sport = from a stop? I've always wondered about the maps, I'm almost always in sport and when I'm go to track mode, my shifts feel different, like my shifts are more noticeable. Maybe it's just me? Oh, I have a mansmission btw.

Well if that is the case it makes a lot of sense. On the track you tend to roll into the throttle more than on the street where you jab at it a lot.

New SS owner here. I love the snap, crackle and pop. What would be the best setup as far as mode and vehicle settings?
