Are Zl1/1LE's rare in your area? Not in Chicago
Just curious if ZL1's and the ZL1 1LE are rare in your neck of the woods? I'm a little dissapointed to see so many in the Chicago area just sitting waiting for new owners.
There at least 25 at just 2 dealers (that I do checks) in the Chicago area. 20 ZL1's 5 ZL1 1LE's http://www.castlechevycars.com/new-v..._filters=false http://www.phillipschevy.com/new-inv...-anchor-trim-4 Even a new 2017: http://www.bredemannchevroletparkrid...-IL/3000745303 |

Virtually unheard of up here in Boston, whether you're trying to buy one or see one, especially if it's an M6. Haven't seen another ZL1, although I know they're up here somewhere. There's only 3 for sale in the area, all A10.

Someone commutes to my college in a ZL1 1LE. That's the only one I've seen. I imagine they're mostly driven on weekends or trackdays.

That's sad. There were none in my area back in August when I was ready to buy and all the ones on order we're claimed. Finally ended up with a Z06 which is amazing, but I do think the new ZL1 is awesome! If there were some available back then, I'd be driving a ZL1 instead. Too bad there are a lot sitting around now.

They seem pretty rare to me. I have only seen two ZL1's out in the western burbs, both Nightfall Gray Metallic, and I have yet to see a 1LE. I have heard from others that there is another Black 1LE and a HBM 1LE out in this neck of the woods, I have yet to see them. I ordered mine early May and had a frustrating time trying to get an allocation for one, finally picked it up early October. It looks like the dealerships are now starting to get their allocations filled. I think I have only seen 3 or 4 other people in this forum from the Chicago land area. I'm hoping to see more this spring when the weather gets better, can't wait to get mine back on the road and the track.

Not in Daytona. John Hall Chevrolet had two ZL1/1LE & two ZL1’s at one time!

Other than mine, I have not seen another ZL1 1LE in person.
these cars are more of a specialty - there are not very many made and they are more expensive than most people in this country can afford - which is why dealerships in larger cities would most likely see the majority of the vehicles that were not made to order. No dealership would want to sign up to recieve a car if they knew there was a chance that they could not get a buyer for it.

There's a white ZL1 1LE floating around out in the NW Burbs.
The two that my dealer sold are both out of state. |

I think most of them in the Chicago area are the ones sitting at the dealerships. I have ever only seen two 6th Gen ZL1s out in the wild, and I put on about 50,000 miles a year. Not common at all on the street.
