Detailing is a CRAFT not an art-art is subjective. Results are NOT. You are correct though there are a lot of variables. I used D300 with Megs MF pad on a Torqx10fx.

So.
Slower. Smaller area . Much better. I guess the first time was so easy I underestimated the amount of damage to my paint after the second winter. There are still some small scratches, I guess a little deeper. I am ok with those...more so because I have my face pressed against the car at the right angle to see them. Still have to throw on the Blackfire products.. I am happy. Thanks guys

this was with a Megs wash and wax and then some CG butter wet wax. I think it looks treat for now but in the next few months I’ll do a light polish.

Re apply the Butter Wet Wax every time you wash. It looks great but doesn't last long. Also,it can be applied BEFORE drying the car. That's why it is called Butter WET Wax. They also have Cherry Wet Wax if you prefer cherry scent.

I figured it didn’t last too long. I’ve been doing a coat every 2 weeks so far. Once I’m confident in my polishing skills I’ll do correction, PL+, and Collinite. Just want it to really pop. |

IPA is just the detailers term for the alcohol/water I told you about yesterday. It stands for isopropyl alcohol, it's put in a spray bottle usually a 25% alcohol/75% water mix. I told you for your front To mix it 50-50. But for normal detailing/ cleaning it's 25/75.
Where do you normally use it? Usually after polishing, to get the surface virgin clean to set up for the sealant/coating/wax. See me use it here: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showt...highlight=Year |
