Weird no start/start issue

I have a 2022 1SS 1LE with M6 transmission. It is not my daily driver so it sits sometimes a week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks in the garage on a battery tender. Since it's always sitting in my garage, I don't lock it and just hang the keys up in the garage. Seems like if it sits for a week or more, grab the key, get in, clutch/brake in and push starter button, and nothing happens. I think sometimes it says no key detected, maybe it doesn't. Can't remember. But if I hit the unlock button then try starting again, car starts right up.

Is it just a thing where the car goes into a deep sleep mode when it sits for over a week? And since the car stays unlocked, I'm not hitting the unlock button to "wake it up"?

I have my car set to auto lock after exit and have not experienced this issue, my car will sit up to 6 months over the winter. Maybe having set in that mode negates that? But I also have an automatic.

So that makes since with the docs posted above. Because then you would be unlocking the car first thing to wake it up. But the list above also says just opening the door should wake it up and it doesn't seem to do that for me. Just opening the door and even just touching the start button to go to accessory doesn't wake it up enough to then brake/clutch and start. Still have to hit unlock button on remote once to wake it up.

Not a huge deal really, just weird and mildly annoying

That's weird then that me opening the door doesn't wake it up.

Only if I push a button on the key fob. Just opening the door and getting in with the keyfob doesn't wake it up unlike what that list above says should happen.
