Hey guys, wanted to give an update on this.
Chevy did in fact replace the diff on the car under warranty. That work, to my knowledge, occurred the second week the car was at the dealer. They had the car for a total of 7 weeks. I got the car back and the noise was completely gone but I never got notice that it was fixed, they just advised that they were continuing to trouble shoot the issue, replacing random items. I cannot replicate the noise at all, completely cold or warm. Now I am not going to keep asking questions, very happy it's gone. But isn't a little fishy that they held on to the car so long and didn't tell me it was fixed? |

They aren't required, by law, to provide you a detailed invoice of the repairs? That's one of the few things CA does correctly. All of that stuff should be detailed, completely, on your RO.

Surely, the service advisor or the manager would be able to tell you the additional parts that were replaced. I'm glad your car is finally fixed , but I'd feel more comfortable knowing exactly what else was replaced.
