I don't have either one to confirm this, but I've seen the install guide for the LPO sport pedals online, and they are essentially covers for your existing brake (and clutch for manuals) and a new accelerator assembly to match those covers. I ran across a list of LPOs where the VEB is listed as a 0.3 hour install for the dealer, so that makes sense since it shouldn't take more than 15-20 minutes to install based on the instructions.

I also found a catalog for the 2020 Camaro that shows the features the ZL1 has over the 2SS (page 29 of the link below), and specifically lists "Pedals - sport alloy".

https://www.chevrolet.com/content/da...ro-catalog.pdf

So my guess is the JF5 option is upgrading you to the actual ZL1 pedals while the VEB option is dressing up the standard pedals to look somewhat similar to the ZL1's.

thanks for the info bro, i heard a rumor that the accelerator pedal of the Alloy sport pedals(JF5) is a little shorter than the last iteration[Sport pedal kit(LPO,VEB)]accelerator pedal

Probably varies per dealer, but I don't recall mine doing much more than a cursory credit check. The actual purchase happened when I picked up the car, other than a $500 deposit at the time of the order (refundable, and applied to the final price).

I think the key is to make sure your dealer has an allocation for a build and you should be good to go.

Congrats on the new car, and someone's gonna love to get your V6 1LE if you sell it!

Hi everyone, thanks for a great forum !

Just traded my 18 2SS 1LE and am ordering new for next spring.

This option list is fabulous.
Are all the order codes the same (and available) for a Canadian order ?

with thanks
Ivan

I can't confirm for sure on the Canadian options, although I would expect most, if not all, to be consistent as they all come out of the same factory.

You may end up wishing you had waited to trade until your new car arrives. Lead times in the current climate have gotten quite long. I'm almost sure mine will arrive by spring...

Dealer says I’ll get their next allocation for a Camaro. How often are allocations given to dealers?

Weekly I believe. The # they get depends on how many they sell.

I've read on a couple of threads that the SGE wheels on the LS are 18x7.5, but they're listed as 18x8.5 in the 2021 literature. Which is correct?

When did the order bank open for the 2022 model? When will it close?

When will 2022 literature be available?

Thank you in advance.

EDIT: It seems the 2022 order bank opened in April 2021 and will close in January. I'll wait for the 2023 order bank.

It appears there was no 2022 printed or PDF literature.

Teen driver mode establishes an audio volume limit, speed warning and speed limiter, the radio mutes if seatbelt is not fastened, safety systems cannot be turned off, the low fuel warning is "sticky"...

Also, it produces a report card from the time teen driver mode was activated (or the report last reset), including distance driven, maximum speed recorded, overspeed warnings, forward collision alerts, forward collision avoidance braking, stability control interventions, ABS activations, tailgating alerts, traction control system activations and the number of times the driver went WOT.
