Whos running a catch can with a TVS2300 or similar

So recently I had a Maggie installed and ordered a Mighty Mouse Extreme Catch Can. I noticed last night that one fitting was capped (PCV) and the other was simply connected to my driver side valve cover. I really questioned this and reached out to MM. Their response is below. Sounds like I just need to find a PCV return and be good to go. Easy enough I suppose. Can someone guide me here?

here's the install doc for the camaro 6 wild https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...7PH6uU8h_n2U8I

the pcv valve is what is capped, this should have connected to intake manifold vacuum. you should ask why this was not done.
-without it you are full venting no pcv filtration or fumes control

In my defense I was capable to install a full Procharger system on my C7 but I cant connect a fricking catch can. HAHAHA

You don't really need one in my opinion.

I run a Mishimoto that I had on the car when it was NA combined with a Metco Valve cover breather. It catches oil and vents crank case pressure...good enough.

I'm sure some will say you don't need anything and others will tell you that you need the "Binford 2000" catch all. Catches more fluid then the strippers down at your local choke-n-puke.

Bigger 5/8" hoses to GMs system from the valve covers and then a 5/8" hose to the inlet on the elbow of the Big Gulp plus the Metco Breather and good to go. The old days we'd run a big 3/4" hose from the welded bung on the header collector and use a Moroso breather cap with the nipple to vent the crank case. But not a good idea on the new stuff especially a street car with full exhaust. Worked really well. Drag cars are probably still doing that. You'll get several opinions so just do what you think will work for you. The choke and puke, man I'm old and thought I'd heard everything about a strip joint. Haha that's a good one King.

The clean side of this MM Catch can is blocked off. That should be connected to a vacuum source from the intake. I've never set one of these up on a Magnuson supercharger before. Is there a good vacuum source built into these? Once you locate that just Tee off of that source and over to the Catch can where its plugged and you should be all set!

That is the only thing needed. The Valve cover fitting to the can is your dirty side and connected correctly.

I have one, and it does work. I have a Elite Engineering X2 can and the routing was a PITA, but all good.

The good ole catch can controversy. Well for me the C7 is a pig. Under hard acceleration I get tons of blow by through my BOV. The car always stinks and there is a ton of crank case pressure. A&A along with a few tuners agreed the car needed a catch can so I turned to Mighty Mouse. Spent my $300 and then when looked for help on installation I got the same "canned" instructions. At this point I should have learned and went to Elite but I am stubborn and set in my ways. When I dropped of the Camaro I did NOT want to deal with the same shit so I gave them the kit and asked that it be installed. Later found that I would need another $100 worth of parts for it to work on a Camaro. No problem handle it. Then I see I essentially have a $400 breather on my car after the build. I'm not done I still turn to Mighty Mouse for another C7 WILD kit because it "needs" it. Now I am $700 deep in MM catch cans and when I turned for help I get questions and guess what the same "canned" instructions. Now I feel like the ass and should of listened to Greg all along during this simple build. laynlo15 I will never again sway from your guidance you ole wise one you.

Hell on a side note do a catch can search and you can find where someone spent about $25 on one that does the same thing. LOL

Just keeping it simple. The smell is not good and that's why we changed Chris' SS and he's happy as can be and he bought the Metco Filter for the oil fill and he's good to go.

Thinking to combine your new and old ideas, has anyone found a nipple that can go in the Metco breather? I'd like to run a hose extension and mount the filter lower in the engine bay. I get quite a bit of oil puking onto my exhaust manifolds during track sessions.
