I am going to try Lennox, I have heard good reviews about them. This may be the time for me to get my stripes painted on. Seems like a good excuse to do so. lol N

No, my garage door hasn't been fed for 3.5 years. I guess it was time to give it something. I just wish it would have been the Dodge Mega Cab. lol

I can handle $500, I hope it isn't much more. It is just a small dent a little smaller than the size of a quarter. If it doesn't cost much, I am really thinking about the stripes.

Do what I do

That is the exact reason that I have my wife stand in the opening of the garage doorway. If it starts to come down it will hit her on the head and go into reverse.Problem solved. You really did not believe that did you?
What really happened was that my neighbor helped me unload a vintage coke machine & place it in the garage.I hit the wall close button and we walked to the door opening meaning to exit right away, he stopped and asked me a question about something in garage and we got distracted and you can guess what happened next.We became the door stop.Funny now - but embarrassing then . Lucky I am hard headed ha.
Good luck on getting it fixed like new.Gotta hurt though.

You might want to invest in a garage door safety laser. I don't know the official name of them, but they are the sensors that wont let the door come down if the beam is broken. Just make sure it is mounted high enough to hit the car and not go under, and this should never happen again.
