Negotiating 1SS price

Hey all,

I'm not new, I actively check the site daily. I'm looking to buy a camaro later this year. Likely in December. I was wondering how close I could get the 1SS m6 to 30k if anyone had any tips. I know my GM discount would get me around 34k, but I wanted to see if there's a possibility to get it close to it before applying that discount. The 1SS has everything I would want, I'd add the NPP of course.
If I can't get it there I'd likely just load a 1LT V6 with some goodies.
I've had a '14 camaro 1LT V6, but I realized I want a little more power. I test drove the I4 and V6 both were auto, I don't think I like the auto but it's definitely better than the 16 mustang I drove. So I'll likely get a manual.
Anything would help, any personal experiences and such.

It could be possibly if you are paying full cash, i had a lot of pull since i purchased two Camaros in a year both with cash.

How much off were you able to get off buying with cash? Someone else had told me to try that.

40k OTD,1SS,NPP,6SPD, Granted this was about 6 months ago when they were just being brought to dealerships, you buying a year later and since 17's are already in the show rooms... you might have a chance.

Depending how particular you are about colors and options. I would say that if they are any 16's still around, you may have a strong likelihood of picking one at or near that price, as long as you are willing to expand your searches.

The 1SS is the rarest of the Camaros to find on the lot right now, so it could be harder to negotiate on that trim if you find one.

Agreed. There are always fewer 1SS on the lots since the 2SS is a more popular seller. I don't know the specific 2016 production numbers by trim but if we use the 2014 model year for comparison then there were 4284 1SS coupes and 14,872 2SS coupes produced in 2014. Black, white and Red were the top colors.
