Its really just marketing. Similar to the MRR give away a month ago, a set of wheels were to be given at random, to someone who was NOMINATED in the thread, guess what, they added a "generosity" set and both sets went to persons who were not NOMINATED in the thread.

But I bet they generated a shit ton of click through revenue from people who really thought they had a chance wanting to see what the wheels would look like on thier cars.

What I would like to see one time is a company who claims to make a decision at random, actually do so, and show the draw,pick, crystal ball reveal on the forum, or social media, I mean its not like we do not have the technology to show a legit drawing for the masses.

Listen guys. I get it. It looks slightly altered/biased. But if they truly did a random drawing Sledge and the other winners had just as likely a chance of winning as you. Are you suggesting Sledge shouldn't have been able to win? For what? Because he has a YouTube channel with a small following? Because he's got sponsors that send him products to try? He entered before the deadline just like everyone else who quailified.

I know samsumon (not even remotely personally) because he and I joined camaro5 during the same week or so back in 09 (other account). There is no reason to believe he didn't win by random drawing. That being said, it is reasonably possible all 4 were randomly picked.

Regardless of what happened, this was a fee giveaway. You were not entitled to anything. C7 is not required to give anything away. If you lost, move on. Simple. If you like the product, go buy one like I did. There's no need to complain and try to justify why you were not picked.

That being said, I'm a bit salty that Sledge is getting one because that's just one more thing that makes our cars look similar lol. Congratulations to the winners, be sure to show them off when you get them.

I enter a lot of drawing from anything from guns to cars every year and pay to enter these drawings and when I don't win I move on. This free drawing and the way C7 handled it was very shitty from the start. It started off as something that would of been nice, but they ****ed that up and everyone can see that.
