There's a large thread about this in the issues section of the forums. With that in mind my dealership actually took my car in for this on Friday to see what can be done about it. This appears to be an issue with the rear differential fluid.

My friend has a 2016 2SS vert... He is driving it with the THIRD new rear end... At first it was just flush, refill and flush again... Then GM came out and authorized a new rear end... etc etc... Instead of yelling "lemon law" he has been working with them and loves the car.. He is going to ask for a discount because of the trouble but he won't give up the car.

yes its the rear end. Done multiple threads about it and it seems like the flushes are not working, but more of a band aid. if its groaning (like mine is currently, which the dealership ended up ordering a new carrier) the rear end WILL have to be replaced.

The dealer told me gm re designs things like this that end up being a problem but said I would just half to wait.. my thing is couple of people are saying they got a new rear end but was the car un drivable? Sometimes the dealer just wants to make money andthey create a big ticket and start doing stuff that gm ends up paying them to do.. for no reason.. let me know if you go in and what they say..

The car for all he's gone through.. Like a rebate from GM in lieu of buying it back..

Unless your dealer is an absolute idiot (which some are) then you'll need to go through the TSB process. I would say just appease them by doing the 2 flushes and if it comes back, they will have to replace. You can mention to them that the largest Camaro/vette boards are going through the same thing and this is where you initially getting your information from.
Vettes are going through the same thing. (some are anyway)

Same issue here, only happens generally the first drive of the day when turning. Goes away after a bit.
