Black split 5 spokes

What are the differences between the $200 split 5 spokes and the $1995 black ones? Only the color, or are they that much more because they are forged? And why not just make them an option instead of dealer installed?

They need to start paying me.... But, I saw them on shopchevyparts.com for $350 per wheel / $1400 set. Very tempted but I do like the machined split spokes enough to skip buying another set of stock wheels. Tpms on their site as well.

Thanks, but my main question was is there any other difference between the silver split 5 spokes for $200, and the black split 5 spokes for $1995, other than the color.

But I would assume that since both sets belonged to the car buyer, that would be the full cost for the silver ones too. Why don't they make the black ones an option.
If I get an SS, I would order the #200 silver split 5 spokes on the car, and then get the black split 5 spokes for a second set. With the shopchevyparts.com price, I would get both sets of nice wheels for cheaper than the LPO option.

I see it as Offering the customer a Convenience factor? Some people don't want to be bothered with the run around. This includes shipping and install

Yes you could order it cheaper and do it yourself, not a bad alternative

Being on the window sticker means a lot to me. As you can see, I have a Camaro collection. I plan on keeping my other 4 as well as a new one in the 18 model year. Depending on what is coming with the 1LE reveal, and the ZL1, It may be a moot point if they have a very nice set of wheels on them stock.
