Thank you...that is very kind. Glad to be here.

I used a Rupes 21 with a 5" backing plate and Megs 5" microfiber cutting pads.
This eliminated almost all the swirls in 1 step and the gloss was amazing!
I followed with a 5" Carpro Gloss pad and Essence to intensify the gloss.
Wiped off with Carpro BOA towels and Microfiber Madness Crazy Pile.

For the 10% areas Essence did not correct...
I used a 5" Carpro flash pad with M101 then followed with Essence. (above)

Thanks for the tips. I will be using this mainly on customers cars that don't want full correction, that I used to do just a wash/prep/cleaner wax, or CG Blacklight followed by a sealant.

As I'm sure you already know, neither of these provide much durability. I am exited to use Essence with Reload on top for these people, to give them filling, gloss, and actually a product that has durability!

I hope you stay on our forum, a lot of people could benefit from your expertise.

For a 32oz bottle. An 8oz is $24.99. 16 oz. $39.99. Use code "15OFF" for a 15% discount. You'll use 1 to 2.5 ounces depending on the paint, the pad, your goal, etc. Question #22 from this thread.

So could I start with this and a Megs Microfiber cutting pad and be done? I wouldn't have to finish with a megs polishing pad?

That would depend on the paint, and the results you are looking for. Essence is a coating, finishing polish, and gloss enhancer all in one. It has the same abrasives as Reflect, just less of them. The DMC pad is aggressive and will provide more cut. The level of gloss is better on a Carpro Gloss pad.

Here is a Q&A thread from the Carpro forum.

Just used this for the first time (red hex logic pad, with my rupes 15ES, speed 3). In Florida at this time of year you have NO wait time (80 degrees at 7 am this morning), wipe off immediately after completing small sections and spread this stuff thin.
Really nice gloss, but didn't realize that I had to immediately wipe down (until it wouldn't wipe all of it off). Big , big change from my usual use of FG400

If you happen to get a spot where you didn't completely remove any left over Essence, just use a small amount and do a quick pass over it to remove.

FG 400 is a cutting compound, very different type of product. Essence is a finishing polish, and coating primer all in one. It also fills minor defects and produces a really high gloss.

I haven't used it with a Red hex logic pad. Since this pad has no cut, it should produce a really good shine.

While Essence offers durable protection, it's not very hydrophobic on it's own, top with Reload or Cquartz.
