They are held from factory using double sided tape. Maybe the shop used a thicker one. Or they didn't install it properly.

You can get the 3M double sided tape and reinstall it properly. It shouldn't look that thick in the end.

Having swapped out a couple badges, I don't think they use "traditional" double sided tape, their black gasket-like adhesive material feels more like butyl such as this one: https://www.mscdirect.com/product/details/33357849.

If someone only wants a thinner adhesive, though, 3M does have several VHB tapes that are 0.9-1.1mm thick. Note that the ones I've used were all dark gray and not pitch black.

There is actually body side molding tape, which is extremely thin and black very much like the factory.

Changed my OEM fender emblems today. Bought them on Amazon 22 bucks a pair. The old school chrome really looks great with Hyper blue and silver stripes.

No, it’s not a GM part. I had the template from Aki and send this to my projector supplier.

I will write a DIY in next few days. It’s not rocket science the only tricky part is tapping the cables.

Are you happy with this Throttle Controller? Did you notice a real difference? Is it worth installing? I was looking at this as well.

I suppose this is the link: https://www.vitesse-motorsports.com/...6-2l-v8_15.htm

I am interested in this controller, as well as in the Soler Performance one. I suppose both work the same way. I am just interested to know the real impact on performance.

Had one on my LS3 Vette, and putting a Soler on my 1LE in a week. Yes, they make a huge difference in throttle response if you do not have a tune. My Soler unit seems nicer and is smaller.
