Happen to catch this angle last night after a wash and felt it would make a good picture.

A black car all cleaned up, detailed, and spotless is the best 56 seconds of the day.

LOL... Ain't that the truth. I LOVE black vehicles, but you really have to stay on top of them to keep them looking nice. That being said, when they are cleaned up nothing beats them.

Oh so true, if even 56 seconds, lol. I haven't had a black vehicle in 20yrs until this one. The one major thing I've learned is I tend to wash this black vehicle WAY more often than I did any other color. Heck in the first 2-3 months of owning it I bet I washed the Camaro more than all other vehicles I've owned combined, lol.

Cleaned off some brake dust. Seriously can not be overstated how much brake dust there is. Worse than keeping the black car clean.

PowerStop Z23 or Z26 pads will cure that problem and with Brembo brakes very easy to change the pads. I first installed the Z26 pads but they would squeal when the car was cold so I switched to Z23 pads which are quiet and honestly don't feel and different in stopping ability. |

I agree, I went with the PowerStop Z26 pads as well due to the ridiculous amount of brake dust... If you aren't tracking your car these pads are fine for the street...

For those thinking about a 2022 LT1…From the few miles I’ve driven the mine, the rumor appears to be true, the pads on the front dust at least 75% less than the SS brembos. The rears are at least 90% better than the SS brembos. No issues with stopping power.

I had the windows tinted and the car paint corrected and then wrapped in PPF. It's so shiny it looks like it has new decals from the reflections LOL Ceramic coating coming next week.
Picked up my long-awaited '22 2SS from Joe last week and loving every moment in it ![]()
