Could someone provide me with ideas on how to mount the from Splash guards from ACS? I don't really want to rivet them so I have the ability to remove them. I was thinking self taping screws but will it hold? I was also thinking maybe getting some flexible backing and get it in place behind the wheel liner using rivets. That's ok I won't remove that. And then using that as the foundation where I would screw the splash guards.

Or i suppose i could rivet them and if I need to remove just drill out the rivets?

I have been procrastinating and not installing the front and rear set.

It's your car, you can do whatever you want with it

I personally don't mind these luxury flaps, of course, but an RPI premium or that Rokblokz set I just bought and installed offer more protection.

I'm with Randy on this one. To me, using carbon fiber for a part that constantly gets bombarded by rocks feels a strange choice, especially when they're also mudflap style.

Splash guards do one thing - protect the side of the car. How you want to accomplish that is up to you and how much DIY you are willing to accept. Attaching some custom cut 1/16", or whatever thickness it was, ABS plastic for $20 does exactly the same thing as the rokblox $150CAD mats. But you do you.

This is where your absolutism fails, as they, like many other mods, don't just "do one thing". They do have a main function and that may be the sole aspect that matters to you personally regardless of how that one function is achieved, but others may have additional priorities, too—say, they want nice straight cuts with smooth cut lines, edges treated, an included hardware kit, different textures in the front and back sides of each guard etc.

To clarify, I don't want cf on my ZL1 because it won't have the cf hood, or cf anywhere else.

On the other hand, my 2017 Corvette Grand Sport has hood, roof, splitter, side skirts and rear spoiler... all cf. Nothing against carbon fiber.

I bought the front and rear ACS mud guards for my 2022 ZL1 that was delivered three days ago. The install was simple, and the product looks OEM. Did not remove wheels for installation. Received the order from ACS 4 days after placing order, and instructions, packaging etc. were all first class.

Expensive, but worth it to me for a definite OEM look, especially the rear.

That's what I have. I like the look and since I have carbon fiber side skirts and front lip it goes well together. I added some spacers to push the wheels out and I'm lowered on BC coilovers. I have some Advan GT Beyond wheels on order (20x10 +20mm/20x11 +35)
