NEED HELP with rims

I just bought this 2016 camaro ss and I think someone painted the wheel with some sort of clear coat or plastidip(very thinly) the only thing so far that has worked to get it off is brake cleaner. But it doesn’t work that fast and take forever for one tiny section. I have tried pressure washer, alcohol, wheel cleaner, all purpose cleaner, goo gone, and vinegar. None of these worked. Is there anything you guys recommend me trying?

I think you're messing up the stock wheels. GM did sell a black set.

Plastidip is a rubbery substance and isn’t difficult to remove. It looks like the previous owner damaged the surface of the wheels. You may need to have them repainted or powder coated to get them to look right. It might be less expensive to buy a set of used wheels in good condition if you can find a set locally.
