Noob question regarding lowering front end ZLE

Ok first of all i apologize if this has been talked about before but i have tried the search function several times and i keep getting a http error 500. So....

I've only had my ZLE for 5 months so I'm still kinda new to the ZLE. When i bought the car the front suspension was already in the track setting as indicated by the top of the struts. After purchasing it used i took it to a (trusted) dealer to get the fluids changed. I asked my guy to put the suspension back to street settings so i dont wear out my tires. After doing so i noticed that the front wheel gap is noticeably bigger. So my questions are:

1. Does switching between track and street settings change the height of the car or only the camber of the wheels?

2. Can i adjust the height (lowering) of the car via the dssv's? I think i read somewhere that i could but not 100% sure.

3. If so can i adjust the rears as well?

4. By adjusting the height will this cause wear on the tires?

Thank you in advance

No, changing the camber does not change the ride height. It's purely visual as the tire goes from being leaned in a noticeable amount to being just about a square with the fender edge.

Yes, you can lower the front via the lower spring perches which are adjustable.

If you adjust the ride height, you'll change the toe settings and you'll start getting increased wear.

I thought about that too but wasn't quite sure. I'd hate to wear out a set of $2k tires just driving it a few times a week. I only want to adjust/lower the front because i see some photos of ZLE's where the front wheel gap is very minimal compared to mine. Thanks for the input.

Congrats on the purchase! You're really going to love this car too. How many miles on it when you bought it...a pic of the wheel gap you speak of may help.

Car comes in middle height setting and looks great there, but -3.0 camber helps the look too. I would do lowest setting for potential better handling and more aggressive aero angle for more downforce, but the steep driveway of my hillside house doesn’t allow it. At middle height I clear no problem.

Thanks I appreciate it. I came from a 2013 ZL1 and upgraded to the ZLE. Bought it with 4350 miles on it. So far I've put 2000ish miles on it. So far I love it. The ride I just had to get used to it. Lol
Here are pics of the gap. To me the gap is pretty wide compared some other ZLE's I've seen. (this pic was taken before i got new MPS4 tires.)

Thanks. I'll probably do that. For me the main thing is i don't want to cause uneven tire wear. So hopefully if i lower the front and get an alignment it wont cause the tires to wear.

Camber does not affect tire wear.... toe does.

Lower ride height = even shittier ride.. if that's possible.

If you bought 650hp camaro and you worry about tire wear..

Good alignment and you'll get good mileage out of the tires... you start changing shit without proper alignment, tires go bye bye FAST.

Put it this way, I'm not worried about tire wear, I just don't want uneven tire wear. Theres a difference. I still have my 3r's for when I eventually do take it to the track and I know when you track the car there will definitely be uneven tire wear. I just don't want uneven tire wear for just regular daily driving on my street tires. I just wasn't sure if lowering the front even with proper alignment and tire pressure, if it'll still cause uneven tire wear.
