UBB Now that is funny. What a long drive home. I love the car but not 22 hours in the seat love LOL. I hope you had good luck as well. I sold my 14 with a Kraftwerks running on E85 for 30K I said if it sold for my price I was getting a ZL1 otherwise I would have kept it. 648 rwhp

I am 6'5" tall so I can see over it but not great in traffic in and out of lanes at 90 mph

Congrats on the new ride!
That hood brings back memories of old SNL skits of 2 wild and crazy guys and their American bulges. Is that an LT4 under the hood or are you just glad to see me? |

I too loved my SS. Had the Maggie Heartbeat kit on it. Awesome car but doesn't compare to the ZL1 |

You’re gonna love the upgrade on moving into a ZL1! Congratulations.
Someone else will love the hood, so everyone wins.

Interesting hood. I love carbon fiber but sometimes to much of anything is simply to much. Bet that hood would look a lot better painted the same color as the car.

I'm curious, what were the main differences?

Obviously all the tech you get in the 6th Gen compared to the 5th. Although the RWHP was fairly close the ZL1 gets it down so much better IMO. My SS just liked to spin the tires though some of it might have been the operator.
I didn't have the Recaro's in my SS either which I love in the ZL1. I do think the visibility is worse (if thats possible) in the 6th Gen. |

Congrats!
Purchase details. How much $$$$, miles, options, etc? What did you get for mileage on the return trip. |
