Slick!

I got bored and decided to paint the engine cover and tower brace to match the car, and for a little more “agressive” look. Lol :

I’m happy with the results!

A little irritated.

Took Fifty to the dealer I purchased from (didn't know Becky back then) because I got a "Service Suspension System" light on the way back from CFIX. It actually showed up several times. One of the times it showed up the character of the vehicle was like riding a buckboard. For some reason, a hard stab of the brake pedal brought it back to normal.

Day after I got home and out of the hospital (story for another day, nothing serious) I took it to the dealer. Dealer is 4 miles from my house. When I started the car to go to the dealer, I got the message again. GOOD! The code will still be in the system, right? Hold on to that thought.

So I drop it off and provide details. I also explained to them that this had happened before and that they did a software update that seemed to resolve it. That is on a Tuesday morning. On Friday they tell me to come get my car. I get there and they say that they couldn't find anything (remember...it set an alert on my way over there. Four mile drive). They simply gave my car back as "problem not found". I asked if they checked for a software update...."I'm not sure. It doesn't say on the system"

So I take the car home. A few days later, I am driving the car and put the top down for the first time since I got it back from them. When I go to put the top up I realize the passenger window no longer does Auto Up. It does Auto Down but not Auto Up. I call the dealer and ask if they did anything electrically with the vehicle in trying to diagnose the suspension system light. I may as well have been speaking Portuguese. So my window doesn't express up. Yeah, 1st world problem, but irritating nonetheless.

That’s interesting. If it does it again, try changing the mode and see if it does anything with it. Sucks to have to help them troubleshoot, but if the bone-heads are going to hand back a car with “nothing found” then apparently they need help. I might also do a search online for anyone else experiencing that “call out” you saw, and see what was done. I’ll see if I can help in that respect. Did you post this anywhere else on camaro6?

John beat me to it on finding that thread. Hope that solves it for you James.

I also wonder if a battery reset would fix your window issue.

Good call on the battery reset. Didn’t think about that... always worth a shot when things start having minds of their own.

Too many electronics on these cars now. Makes working on them tough. But at same time lots of cool tech lol.

That will probably end up being the issue. I would not be surprised if Michigan's "quality roads" may have jostled the ride height sensors out of position. Thanks for the research!!
