Do these wheels look forged to you?
if not, damn. we're faking forged wheels now?
FB seller....says they come from the same factory as APEX. To me, they look clearly cast and at best they're stretching the meaning of spin forging the hoops.

OK, no, in all seriousness, I have no idea what the difference even is. Bigger thing, to me, was that THAT was the guy's response? Being an a-hole? Avoid.

yeah, he got pretty defensive there. he wouldn't share anything about the vendor or where he got them. I think he's an expat student... at a Cali state school.
There doesn't look to be any machining, all the edges are pretty rounded, and the spoke thickness is a) not uniform, and b) excessively thick at the barrel. |

Appears FORGED is CAST right in those
 $1200 is a lot for knockoff anything.
