Front SS Emblem Grill Kit

Hello,

I’ve been searching everywhere and cannot find it. When I bought my 2SS, it was debadged, but I really like the SS emblems and added the rear one but I cannot find the kit for the front grill. Amazon has some but they only fit earlier models. Does anyone know where I can buy the front SS emblem kit for a 2017?

Thanks!

Just use the same one you used on the rear. When I switched to the black SS emblems, I couldn't find anyone who had the front with the alignment pegs, so just slapped the same SS that I had put on the rear.

Sorry, i meant the whole plastic mount on the grill is gone, I have the actual SS emblem, but the mount to stick it to is gone.

Like the OEM nameplate? In this link, there is the nameplate adapter and nameplate backing. I'm not sure if that's what you're referring to but here you go.

BTW, this is the site I order all OEM stuff from. Way cheaper than the dealership and excellent customer service.

Thanks so much for the link, I ordered myself a kit. The Euro-Camaros come debadged, this should be a nice upgrade

So what exactly did you order? I suppose the SS emblem itself (nameplate), nameplate adapter and nameplate backing plate (# 8, 9 and 10 respectively in the link below)?

I need to order one for my car as well. How did you install it? Is it necessary to remove the front bumper?

$80 plus shipping and import taxes seemed like a lot of money for a grill badge. I added mine by buying the badge alone and making a black perspex mount with a dremel. Cost about $5 all in and looks completely oem

Thanks Uk2019. And how did you fix it on the grille?

Sorry I didn't take photos while making it but cut the plastic to match the size and shape of the badge. Before sticking the badge to the mount i recessed 4 slots into it and used 2 cable ties to mount it to the grill. The ties are completely hidden, not visible at all once mounted. Given the shipping costs and taxes, was keen to find an oem looking way, has held up well for the past few months

That’s what I did

Seems to be a great approach in order to avoid all the extra costs. Thanks for sharing. By the way, where are you in the UK? I am located in London, Richmond.
