Thanks to the op. Didn't realize mine was low. To reservoir was below cold line and bottom tank was bone dry with cold motor in my garage. Bottom tank should be half full and top tank full when cold, yes?

This is a great post!
I picked my car up a week ago. I currently only have 138 miles on it. Top is full. Bottom is bone dry. (see photos) Probably as shipped from the factory. I'm thinking simply fill it myself but then again, I can take it to the dealer so it can be documented and perhaps GM could keep an eye on this factory fill issue.
