New ZL1 hits the ground running DFW area makes 647 RWHP 2 MODS

This is my 2019 ZL1 1LE A10 camaro. The car was purchased and immediately taken to AMP in Grand Prairie (after some breakin time of course!!! LOL). Below is the DYNO chart for the car. The CAR BONE STOCK made 574 RWHP and 581 TQ. With a TUNE and ROTOFAB you can see the car made 600 rwhp and 610 TQ. A flex fuel sensor was added and the car now makes 647 RWHP and 645 TQ. on E85. All these pulls were done with the stock pulley setup which resulted in about 11 pounds of boost. The END result is the car makes 73 MORE HP and 64 more TQ than it had to begin with. MORE TO COME.

That is great. I just received my ZL1 1LE A10 as well. But I'm loathe to kiss my warranty goodbye with a tune like you did (unless you know something I don't about maintaining warranty).

Really pondering doing the E85 upgrade myself along with the LT4 throttle body. Seems like really good power without too much modification. Did you add an additional AFR gauge?

Every Dyno is different and conditions are different. It's more for a baseline.

Dyno run

No additional AFR gauge was added. E85 was regular pump E85 gas like what you get from your friendly KROGER store (LOL).

i'd love to be able to do that, my local stations have always measured at 77%.

you may be the first I've seen running without a mix

Right, I've seen people say "E85" but it's really Flexfuel (not 85% ethanol) - like here's a local station, it's got the big 85 on the pump but it clarifies the actual ethanol content at 51-83%.

FWIW, I haven't used it, or tested the %, I was going to get a Flexfuel tune on my GT, and now I'm going to trade it for a ZL1, though I'm still interested in a Flextune

E85

Good point. To REALLY get true E85, you would probably have to get something like Sunoco Fuel E85-R. Regardless of what the percentage alcohol is though, the flex fuel sensor will adjust for it. You simply wont make as much power obviously with lower grade fuels.

So...

E85, tune, and cold air kit 647

DSX Flex 300.00
Rotofab 495.00
Install ?
Tune 600.00?

$1395.00 plus labor....

vs.

Headers, cut box w high flow filter, and 1 pulley swap on 93 and same power..

ATI 918856W Damper $325.00
ATI 916227 or Lingenfelter L220170709 135.00
GATES Greenback k080845HD 28.00
Texas Speed Headers $599.00
LS1 ATI 951499 damper bolt summit 9.75
NGK 6510 1 step cooler plugs 80.00
Tune $600.00
Labor I did my self 0.00

$1,776.75

If you would of replaced the stock air filter with a green.. then cut the bottom out of the box.. YOU COULD LAY CLAIM to 650 hp for 900.00 bucks at same power level! Holy Cow that's cheap!

Great job!

So you didn't need an Aux pump or other plugs? Also what was tune and labor?
