Yes thay can and it wont cause any damage. Would cost a mint at the dealer. Take it to a gm performance shop

A dealer would never know for warranty work, unless specifically looking for them.

Good point. Ya the dealer wouldn't know. They have GM stamped on them too so they would think there stock.

Maybe over the long term they will wear out the control arms bushings faster to lower than the mileage they were shooting for?? That would be my only educated guess. I am loving mine so far and if I ever do wear out the stock arm bushings, I will go with BMR stuff anyways.

they give the same warranty on the zl1/1le so it shouldn't void it. i think it would only void it on the cradle bushings. 36k miles is nothing your stock bushings should be good for over 100,000 miles.

I honestly do not see any good reason for the issues with warranty. Probably a legal decision more that a mechanical/practical one.

I got mine from Wildhammer Motorsports. I wonder if GM stopped producing them.

I'm just guessing though, I don't know if that is fact.

gm has in fact discontinued there rear zl1/1le bushings. the only way to purchase them is with a rear cradle.

BMR doesn't have a direct replacement for a true "solid" rear cradle. They do have the Delrin bushing kit. The GM kit was solid aluminum. Does anyone here know if the BMR lock out kit (the easy install one) increases ride height? It certainly seems like it would given the parts, but I do not know what the cradle bushings looked like when fully stock. THANKS!
