Can't access transmission or fuel pump with HP tuner

I just picked up my car from having LTs put on, and the guy told me he was unable to access the transmission and fuel pump to make any changes...

I know nothing about tuning but does anyone know why he wouldn't be able to access those? Not sure about the transmission I guess that's something normally tweaked while tuning but I wanted to tweak the NPP settings so that they wouldn't close automatically when I'm in track mode.

If you have a 2017-18 then you have to send the TCM out and get it unlocked before it can be licensed and the trans tuned.

Tbh, if your tuner doesnt know how that the tcm needs t be sent out to hp tuners to be unlocked, you need a new tuner. They do not know anything about these computers, and they are very different from previous GM motors. You are going to be their guinea pig.

I agree with both comments above. TCM needs to be sent out for unlock and licensed for 4 additional credits. These cars are way different than the Gen IV stuff. Doubt most people will take the time to learn how the torque based system works.

I went by there this morning to ask why they didn't put my boot protectors on and mentioned this. He said they knew about it but with the cost and time it takes it's not really worth doing to make minimal changes, that the car is already set up really well from GM and he doesn't recommend doing it. Which I guess makes sense to me.

All in all I am satisfied for the most part, the sound isn't quite what I want but it's not bad I'm just very picky about it. Here's how it dyno'd

Initial run was 343.89 HP @ 5.82 RPM / 356.70 TQ @ 4.35 RPM

Final run after LTs, CAI and tune was 413.20 HP @ 5.55 RPM / 439.97 TQ @ 4.41 RPM

That seemed way off to me and them both but it was around triple digits outside & the dyno room was at 108*F so I guess why the numbers were so low. Happy with the gains though.

Something is way off. It could just be a very low reading dyno, but +70 rwhp from longtubes, cai, tune is not accurate at all. If you are on 91/93octane, it should be closer to like 40 rwhp,

I'd look at both dyno sheets and make sure correction and smoothing and end RPM is the same. Numbers don't add up.

Even 40 from those mods is "Hopefull" most need E85 thrown in to gain in the 40's. I personally saw 45 from longtubes and E85

I couldn't see what it said, the page cut off. Anyway here's the sheets

This is from a pretty reputable shop in my area, I did my research before I took it there and based off what others here on Camaro6 have said about them they seem to know what they're doing, and do a lot of work on Camaros.
