Throttle Lag

Hey ya'll, I bought a 2018 v6 recently to get use to until I upgrade to a v8 in a few years, I like it but I wanna increase the throttle response without voiding my warranty. Any suggestions?

I agree with the above. I have a 2018 V6 as well, and recently added the Soler Performance ported throttle body. Makes a pretty good difference

Even with a TC, you still have about 1/16 of an inch of pedal play before you get a real response. I assume its either in the E-Pedal or the Tune itself. Once past that 1/16 inch of play then the TC helps the quicker response.

I use the Vitesse Throttle Controller. Love how it improves throttle response. Doesn't add horsepower, but it sure FEELS like it!

I had the vitesse for about 2 years and took a chance on the Tony Mamo throttle body. Absolutely the best mod I’ve purchased so far. The vitesse was good but not in the same league as the Mamo tb IMO. I’m not putting down the soler, it could be just as good, I just went with Tony’s. He’s a great guy that stands by his product. I had a question for him and he called me and we bullshitted for 45 min. He’s just that easy to talk to and he knows his stuff that’s for sure because I wouldn’t trade the tb for anything...well maybe a supercharger haha!

Something else to consider here when looking to increase throttle response. While both the TC and TB do well to sharpen the general pedal response, they both do it in different ways, which create a different feel. Personally I prefer the feel of a good ported TB over a TC.
