WTB Range AFM Disabler
Hello everyone, new member here.
Just purchased a 2012 2SS. It has Flowmaster 40s already installed. Sounds good, but AFM has got to go! Anyone got a Range AFM disabler that they're willing to sell? |

Rather than a range, why not spend a little more and snag a used SCT X4 tuner? I have one to hold me over until I get a dyno tune and mine has the option to disable AFM/DOD.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'd be open to that as well. I'm now reading up on tuning options since this is my first 5th gen Camaro. |

The tune voids the powertrain warranty while the Range does not. With a 2012, you probably are out of powertrain anyway, so you are better off getting a full tune. Contact DynoSteve on here.

Depending on how long you are willing to wait - I will be selling a lightly used 6 month old or so range AFM device in a month or so. This winter I'm voiding my warranty and doing LT headers and a Tune from Dynosteve, so Ill be getting rid of the AFM. Shoot me a PM if you want me to let you know when its ready to go

Thanks for the advice guys, but I just need to get rid of afm for now and asap, it drives me nuts. I will start mods later on then get a tuner from dynosteve, but that may be a while.

The range is crap. Buy the used sct tuner. A tune will wake your car up AND add hp!

agreed that the range AFM blocker isnt ideal - but it allows you to keep warranty. Thats worth it on a newer car that isnt willing to give that up
