Z/28 No:202 Lives.

You may be glad to hear, after a 6 month slog that my Black Z/28 is tearing up the tarmac again.
Many thanks to those of you who wished me well with the rebuild and in some cases offered genuine help, from 3,500 miles away!!{i love this forum}.
Through the UK spur of Camaro5 i was introduced to a proper American enthusiast, who was up for the 'resurrection',by the name of Trevor Cowell.
It is to him i owe eternal gratitude for his patience, diligence and skill and not a little humour.Over the last 6 months all those attributes have been required in spades and as you {in the US of A}can only imagine, trying to rebuild a niche car like our beloved 'Z',has been arduous at times.
I hope i've attached a 'Halloween' video to celebrate this great day with 1700 plus, other appreciators,of our great model.
$35,000 dollars of insurance payout later, this is what i got....oh and a couple of upgrades to include a NoWeeds Exhaust Diverter....enjoy!!

Nice story!

You attached an image only of the icon for the video it appears.
I don't think you can upload a video directly to the forum. I think you have to provide a link (using the chain icon) to an outside source like photo bucket or one of the other free ones.
Looking forward to the video!

Congratulations on getting it back up and running. Hopefully you'll have another UK Z/28 playmate in a few more weeks

Can't wait to see the video. Try youtube?

That was me.....treating my motor with more respect this time around.I'd like to make it last longer than 4 months!!
Call me a fool but,I've got a new set of Trofeos all round because they look hardcore,so I will def be respecting 'roundabouts' (they're those circular things that we only have in Europe)as I re-connect with my 'Z'.
