iceolator

I just installed again man it feels so good with my ptb, ultra flow exhaust, and CAI. Are there any negative effects of it?

None that I am aware of. other than a heavier right foot and burning more fuel, while enjoying the new found power.

Yes, several. Lower gas milage, the desire for more power resulting in added mods, a dwindling bank account, visiting this site consistantly getting more ideas leading to more money spent. It's neverending.

Has anyone installed the Plenum spacer as well from Mace? I had one, but managed to crack it so i never got to run the car with it on. I've heard mixed impressions on it so i figured I'd ask.

I have a plenum spacer, but not from Mace. Not sure how much different they really are anyway. What I can say is I did not notice a change, but I got a good deal on it and wanted to add to my all bolt on list. Only thing left is the pulley change and that is NOT going to happen. If you can get a good deal on it might be worth it to say you have it, but certainly not measurable in my book.

I cant see there being a noticeable difference with the plenum spacer. But, I can tell you what it is meant to do. It adds volume to your Intake Manifold. More volume=more space=more air=colder air=better spark=more power. However, knowing how much power it actually supplies, is not something I know.

I actually was given a 50 dollar off coupon by the guys at Mace to purchase the spacer again. They were more than generous since it was my fault the spacer cracked. (my plenum cover was missing a bolt.) I just wasn't sure whether or not I wanted to spend another 60ish for the plenum spacer. It's not a lot of money it just kinda sux buying it again.

Everything helps, the plenum spacer from Mace makes a nice difference, might see more of a benefit on FI vehicles.
