Mine was dyno'd at 409rwhp, with just a CAI and ported tb. Add headers, tune, pulley and intake and I could easily see where the other 30- 40 hp came from.

If you look at the 1le Dyno thread, stock 1le are usually coming in at 385-415 rwhp.

Personally I think gm is taking the top 1% of the ls3 motors and sticking them in the 1le. With any mass produced motor there are always the gems, especially if they are doing cherry picking at the component level.

this is just proving my point.....there are different numbers all over the board...i have only 391 on a clayton eddycurrent with my mods now i have an inferior CAI and im only runing BBK shroties and the dyno was done while i still had my cats on but all my point is ....is that the gains are more important than the total number....and thats because were not all going to have the same numbers high or low.

Oh well that settles it...

If you had every bolt on and only made 425 there is no way anyone would ever make anymore....

Congrats OP.

Also don't forget NPP certainly will help some, as will the electric power steering.

The point I was getting Accross was that with every single bolt on I had the gains he got from adding pulleys headers and a cai dipshit

vettes make around 430 with full Bolt ons and they always make more power than camaro with the same motor. This guy is saying he Imade 446rwhp with intake and ported tb , intake and headers. What's more likey, they numbers are off or this guy is the only one in the entire country (including the man that designed the e38 software on the ls3) doesn't know what he knows ...

Look guys I didn't mean to turn this into a pissing contest, I was just sharing. I'm just glad the car is running good. I have no idea about the baseline I have no interest in dyno numbers of stock cars. To me 406 or 446 I would have been just as happy. I have no clue what numbers others are hitting.

As for questions on intake mods, you can search Rhino's threads for that info. A few HP here, a few HP there, and after a while it adds up. I don't see what the big deal is.

**** it, either way, thanks guys! This forum is awesome, haters included!

Car baselined at 390.

Cai, underdrive pulley, ported tb, modded intake manifold, 1 7/8 lts, no cats, pump 93, and tune is on kill mode. 56 from every bolt on imaginable is not unrealistic.

The dyno doesn't read high, no voodoo, sorry guys.

I make 540 on the same dyno and trap 133.5, do the math at 3700 raceweight and back into the numbers!

It is at the higher side of what I have seen. But not all motors are the same. Look at the fast lists and all over, every car is going to be different.

Is 540 high for a cam head L99 car like my own, yes. I have time slips to back it up though.
