Broken tire valve stem - 7800 miles/stock tires - no warranty?
So yesterday I was checking my car's tire pressure in my garage and the valve stem broke in half and the tire went flat in seconds. I called my local Chevy dealer and they said it's not covered by warranty?
My car only has 7800 miles. This sucks. Does this seem right to you guys? Am I going to have to replace the entire tire pressure sensor too? |

Just pull the tire, and take it to a tire shop like Discount tire, and have them put a new valvstem on. The TPM is fine.

Will do. Thanks. Just really didn't want to have to replace the TPM sensor.

Rubber valve stems, correct? They're easily replaceable with transferring over the existing sensor. Have no worries.
