Ba/Guard to protect the front lower bumper lip from ground/curb impact?
So this past weekend I misjudged the distance from the curb in a diagonal parking spot and put some real nasty gouges in my bumper:
I'm having this fixed this weekend but is there anything on the market yet that would cover the bumper and perhaps take the brunt of a scrape like this? There are some dicey road dips coming into and out of store parking lots around here and Id rather a bra/cover take a scratch than need to have the bumper repaired and repainted again. Cheaper to toss out the damaged cover. |

That is the ideal solution but where i messed up my bumper was a one way diagonal park coming off the highway at a rest stop. Turning around to back in would be pretty dangerous. Also reading that the curb alert might be useless in those situations.
