ZL1 1LE Pics Anyone ?

I'm unable to locate and member's ZL1 1LE picture thread if there is one?

Trying to make a decision vs the regular ZL1 (automatic).

Or install the Wing and dive planes to a ZL1.

It's more than just the wings and the dive planes. The 1LE comes with a racing suspension setup that is completely different from the magnetic ride on the ZL1. I believe it also has upgraded brembos and tires/rims as well.

Try the ZL1 thread. Lots of ZL1 1LE pics there.

Where is the picture thread showing members who purchased the ZL1 1LE?

Brakes are the same just different color calipers. Are you planning to daly drive the car? The race suspension on the ZL1 1LE is a bit firmer than the magnetic ride on the regular ZL1 and is not adjustable firm/soft wise. Some people don’t like the ride quality and others like me find it one of the entertaining qualities of the car.

I will probably go with a ZL1 because of Mag Ride suspension.

My old knees cant handle a clutch anymore.

Clutch is easy compared to punishing tires/suspension combo on ZLE.

Either way, plenty of power and handling to back it up. Just drive within YOUR limits.

Which do you prefer, ZL1 or ZL1 1LE?

I wouldn't worry about the clutch so much on the ZL1 1LE. It's the ride on the street that is the harshest.

Oddly enough the ride is fine to me even on less than new smooth pavement. But on the tar and packed down gravel roads around here, the ride is fine, but the vibration of the car bothers me more. I am afraid it will become a rattling mess in the long run. Nobody talks about that, but to me that's the bigger issue in the ZL1 1LE. It's a race car by design, so it's to be expected.

Having never driven a plain ZL1, I can't directly comment.

I'm sitting on ZL1 1LE w 7,100 miles

You become really good at avoiding shitty roads. "Oh shitty road, better go longer, smoother road route"

Hmmmm. I don't have a vibration in my car at all. Even with a track alignment. Can you describe this vibration you are having? Perhaps i am not paying attention or missing something? Is it all the time? Constant speed or certain rpm? Under acceleration, braking or just cruising?

You haven't mentioned tracking your car at all in this tread. Trust me, the 1LE is not for daily driving and since you're also on the fence leaning toward an auto then the A10 is your ticket. I wouldn't even give this a second thought. If you like the aero stuff on the 1LE just add it later. You'll be way more happier with the regular Z
