Has anyone installed their front license and know off hand if show and go tags or something like that will mount? Don't really want to put my from license plate right over the center of the grill.

I always use StoNSho (stonsho.com) on my cars. Real clean look and no more standard license plate; quick install! Matter o' fact they have a pic of a 1LE with it on after you pick the specific model for it. Waiting on my plates to come in before I "install" them.

Tow hook mount is my choice. I don't like the stow and show. The front plate in my area is heavily enforced as a violation on it's own and I don't need "the man" in my life over it. My silly line of thought was that I'll stow that plate and then forget about it. I tap danced with cops for years about the front plate and I finally had enough of getting pulled over for it and then getting my tint measured and other stupid shit so I roll legal now.

I like how the Sto N Sho preserves much of the look of the pre-refresh grille as opposed to the stock and tow-hook options. Over 50k miles of satisfaction here, between my 2016 and 2021 sixth gens.

I've driven 20k miles in the first year of ownership without a front plate. States include IL, IA, WI, IN, MI, NE, and MO. I do have a law enforcement support personalized license plate on the back (proceeds go to families of officers killed in the line of duty), and my typical blue line and red line flag stickers on the rear window corners... when combined with a clean record... I get left alone.

I have been thinking about a mount that goes behind the lower grill, so it's technically visible but not out front - that may draw more attention... and I don't want to mess with airflow to the radiator too much.

I almost always forgot the sho part

back when we lived in NJ, and never had a problem with the police. Maybe I just got lucky, I know others who were swiped for $150-ish each time.
