no refrigerant in system, fan not operating, ac compressor has no belt or malfunctioning, etc etc. Does it change if you drive at highway speed?

I just had mine at the dealership yesterday. They said I had a leak on the seals around the compressor. They fixed that and reloaded it with Freon and it blows cold now.

Nope doesn’t change when driving, when I press the AC button I can hear the click come from the front but air doesn’t go cold.

OP, last summer I got in my ZL1 to drive home from work one day and found that the AC wasn't blowing cold either. In my case, a dealer visit was unnecessary as my AC compressor fuse had popped. I replaced it with one of the spares in the car and it is still working fine a year later.

So, go check your fuse first. Might save you a trip.

So, looks like F48 for your 2019. Wonder why they changed the fuses between 2018 and 2019...

No clue... I checked all fuses that had anything related to AC on them and they all are fine. Wonder if maybe it needs a recharge? Can’t recall using the AC last year when I got it

So I discovered that if my wife closes both of her vents on her side the AC will not blow very cold. I thought i had an issue I opened them up and AC is ice cold. Temp was set to the same temp on both sides.

Pretty sure mine are all open but I’ll double check, thanks

So a more mechanically inclined friend just looked and said the belt is spinning but the clutch should be engaging and making the pulley spin and it isn’t. So I guess my clutch isn’t engaging and that’s why the AC isn’t working. Maybe low on Freon and it’s a safety measure to not burn out the compressor? But weird because the car is only a year old and haven’t used the AC much
