Welds racing wheels

Debating putting welds racing wheels on my 16/2SS
Looking at 17”bead locks in rear and debating a 15” fronts
My concern is bottoming out.. Anyone running welds?

17s in rear and 15s in the front? I think you have that backwards

You won't be able to fit anything smaller than 17 on the front... And possibly the same on the rear... Brakes are too big.... I haven't seen anyone with less than 17s, yet..

That would look incredibly dumb with a 15 front and 17 rear.

Then you should look around a bit better. Plenty of 6th gens on 15" out there for a long while... many do the v6 rear swap, or buy the carlye 15" drag race kit.. which is a v6 rotor on a wilwood caliper...

Regarding the front not too long ago a 15" conversion kit came out "aerospace components" is the brand (I think)...

To the OP, I would advise you to go to the drag racing section of this forum... There you will find answers to any type of question.

Thanks danhr for the correction on the post. Thanks others for the feedback. Spoke with Welds rep today, so I am squared away. In addition my man lethal Camaro pointed me in right direction as well.

Thanks

My apologies, I should have specified on a stock vehicle.... Which, on a stock SS, I don't think you can, because the brakes are too large.
Unless you convert to smaller brakes.
