Exclamation Can someone please help me identify this cable tie?

Can someone please help me identify this cable tie pictured below?

Of the ones that I know of, there’s one located in the trunk next to the battery, and another one that secures the intake in the engine bay.

I’ve looked through several GM/Chevrolet fastener catalogs and can’t seem to locate it.

Part number would be awesome.

Thanks for any help!

I cut the old gray tie out and just slide a regular tie thru the lock hole.

Can't help with that specific GM part.

Generically, they are called "stud mount cable ties". Google that and you'll get many sources, sizes, and styles.

They replace the old aircraft type of clamp, commonly known as an "adel clamp".

Although car makers don't adhere to this, aircraft makers do not use "cable ties, tie wraps" etc. around hot areas such as within engine cowls, because they become brittle with prolonged exposure to heat and fail. Although their are special heat resistant cable ties.

The last two pics are of a stud mount cable tie and a stud mount cable tie mounting base.

At my dealer, the parts guy would look at blow-ups for you and identify it.

Went looking for the same piece a while ago. My local dealers service counter guys all stated they couldn't get the cable tie without ordering the cable it was holding. In my case it was the battery harness.

So, I just kept the nut portion and threaded through a new ziptie as JD555 suggests.

I was under the impression that the whole thing was a single piece...
It’s two pieces?

Cut the old tie off flush and leave the part it slips threw. Slide a new on in the lock area of the old one.
