Does the ‘RS’ trim package come standard on the 1LE? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

It was recently brought to my attention that I have the ‘RS’ trim package on my 2015 1LE.

I was speaking with my friend, and he said that he was pretty sure that ‘RS’ trim came standard on the 1LE.

I’m doubting his word, as a quick search on these forums leads to questions and topics about adding the ‘RS’ trim after the 1LE has already been purchased.

RS was an option on the 1LE.

I have a 2015 Camaro 1SS with the 1LE option. It did not come with the RS option.

Ya get the HID headlights, color keyed shark fin and roof strips and LED tail lights and a chrome strip on the top of the grill with the RS option . Ya have to ask yourself are the HID headlights worth the price of the RS option ,because I could do without the chrome strip c,olor coded fin, roof strips and the led tail lights .

Thanks for the info guys. I was wondering why my taillights are so damn bright! LED’s explain it. I looked up what’s included in the RS package, and I couldn’t seem to find any official documentation stating that the RS trim package includes LED taillights. It just seemed to by what everyone agrees on.

I do have a picture of the trunk sticker on my phone, but it’s not a very good one. I’ll tale a better one and post later. I also have blue accents going along the interior of the driver and passenger side doors. Which trim level is that?

Sounds like its a 2SS, mine has the same interior lighting along the door panels.

If I remeber correctly, you can have the RS package with the 1SS which is basically the "base" option which has cloth seats, no pods or gauges under the stereo, but still have the RS look outside.

Then you can option out the 2SS which adds leather, the guages, interior lighting around the doors, and heads up display. (I think) then still have the RS package for the outside look. I'm aire in missing other things...

Tye, You have the 2SS trim with the blue accent on the door.

attached are a couple of screenshots of the 2015 sales brochure. Ignore the shiny 20-inch wheels and body color rear spoiler in the RS package description. We got the ZL1 wheels and a black ZL1 spoiler.

As others have said, it was an option. My '14 1LE has it but my dads '15 1LE does not.

According to my window sticker the RS package was a $1350 option

It was 1,350 when bought with the 1LE option. It was 2K on "lesser" Camaros...
